Technology

In a nut shell technology is the application of scientific knowledge and tools to solve problems, improve efficiency, manipulate the human environment; ranging from simple tools like the wheel to complex systems like Ai. It enhances life through automation, faster communication, and innovation. Key areas include AI, biotechnology, and space exploration.

Our programing will be designed to push the envelope around engaging learning practicum through the lens of Hip Hip. We are currently creating partnership with National Grid, Con Edison, NYSERDA, and other local corporations that will assist in the development of programing, community outing, and an overall technological experience.

Organizing Team

RaP CiDy D is 4 Dope is curated by a small team of physical science teachers , construction engineers, corporate leaders, music & arts professionals and financial literacy presenters who believe that technology must serve the planet — not the other way around. Working between National Grid, McKissack & McKissack, NYC Public School System, Primerica and Bridge Street Development Corp, the team brings together local knowledge and global collaboration to shape a gathering rooted in care, creativity, and systems thinking.
We don’t just program talks — we curate experiences, relationships, and ideas that grow long after the program ends.
